A$AP Rocky stopped by Hot 97's Ebro In The Morning yesterday to talk a little about his new album— A.L.L.A., out this week—and a lot about his sex life. His comments about Rita Ora on the song "Better Things" have gotten a lot of attention, so he addressed those briefly. Mostly though, he talked about orgies. Watch the interview above, and read highlights from the conversation below.
On New York rap: “There is no New York sound. We didn’t have a sound since 50 Cent, G-Unit, and Dipset.”
On Instagram: “I don’t give a fuck about Instagram!”
On Joe Fox (who worked on several A.L.L.A. songs): “He’s the homie. He’s a artist… he has more orgies than me.”
On orgies: “Everybody from Harlem and the Bronx, if you was out there getting girls, by the time you was 18, you had a lot of sex partners. I was who I was, I am who I am… I would be stupid to give up a beautiful woman for orgies. I’m gonna let y’all know something right now, I wouldn’t sacrifice a relationship for orgies. I’d just have the orgies and not tell.”
On Rita Ora: “I say what I want… I feel bad that people just keep talking about that because I didn’t think people would. That’s an old song, I was in a relationship when I made that song. I’m referring to trouble that that girl caused me. I’m being precise when I say that girl talks a lot…”
But: “This album is not about bashing that girl or taking away what she did. She does what she does and she’s an incredible artist for that… I never said she was ugly… I wish people would stop trying to dissect that shit.”
On the types of women he likes: “I want you to know something: I have a thing for cougars and MILFs. I want to talk about this. I want to talk about gay women. Sometimes you might see a couple gay chicks that look really nice.”
On possible names for his son: “Big Daddy Kane?”
