At last night's CFDA Fashion Awards, a semi-emotional Kanye West presented Pharrell Williams with the 2015 Fashion Icon Award. In typical Yeezy style, Kanye gave a mini-rant about the hardships of making it in the fashion world as a rapper and acknowledged the many style trails—namely skinny jeans and stunting front row at fashion shows—that Pharrell had blazed before him, ultimately paving the way.
