On June 19th, a pair of actors will portray Daft Punk in Mia Hansen-Løve's Eden, a fictional film about the rise of electronic music. But for those who prefer the unvarnished truth, there’s a second option airing just 5 days later overseas: Daft Punk Unchained, an hour-long documentary about the duo produced by BBC and directed by Hervé Martin Delpierre. BBC promises "rare archive footage as well as exclusive interviews with… Pharrell Williams, Giorgio Moroder, Nile Rodgers and Michel Gondry." Billboard reports that Kanye will also make an appearance. That would make for a nice change of pace, since the press cycle for Daft Punk's last album, Random Access Memories, already involved plenty of Pharrell, Moroder, and Rodgers.
