Jeremih Teams Up With Nicki Minaj On “Angel”

A new Jeremih track hit the airwaves this morning featuring Nicki Minaj. In the last 18 months, Jeremih has mostly been getting attention for uptempo tracks that have either been produced by DJ Mustard or sound like they could be: “Don’t Tell ‘Em,” Natalie La Rose’s “Somebody,” and Krept & Konan's “Freak of the Week.” It's surprising, then, to hear “Angel,” which relies on a DJ Prostyle beat halfway between EDM and disco. Minaj shows up and raps part of her verse in an English accent. Listen below. Jeremih’s much-delayed Late Nights album is in theory due July 17.
