Watch Tory Lanez’ Sinful New Video, “Diego”
“They say the first four people you see every day, you become most like.”
Toronto's Tory Lanez might be best thought of as a stylistic chameleon, shifting between The Weeknd's airtight falsetto, Future's roar-and-response hooks, and Drake's pop-fluent bars. It may explain how he's snuck up the ranks just out of eyesight this year, culminating this summer with a blistering EP on WEDIDIT and a landmark intro on Meek Mill's Dreams Worth More Than Money. As part of his Fargo Fridays series, Lanez debuts the video for "Diego," elevating the one-off single to a smoked-out anthem built for swinging cheeks. I just signed a deal for a couple mil, he taunts in a twisted snippet toward the clip's end, I guess you ain't the only one that got the hits. Dive into his Cruel Intentions EP here.
