According to Maryland's Case Search website, Shy Glizzy was released on bail on Tuesday afternoon after an arrest by Montgomery County Police on Monday. A pair of videos yesterday in Silver Spring, MD appear to show the rapper Shy Glizzy being forcibly restrained against the hood of a car by the police as they go through his pockets. The clip seems to be shot by students who shout "Free Glizzy." After the rapper is handcuffed, the police put him in the back of a squad car.
Glizzy was arrested on five charges — one count of disorderly conduct, one count of a failure to obey a reasonable and lawful, one count of obstructing and hindering, one count of riot, and a count for resisting arrest. The FADER will continue to update this story as more news comes in.
