Deerhunter’s last album, Monomania, came out in May of 2013. Today the band declared that the follow-up is on its way: Fading Frontier will arrive October 16. Bradford Cox and co. also shared a new track, “Snakeskin,” which sounds as if the group spent some time honing their southern soul chops in Muscle Shoals, Alabama.
