Wolf Alice’s “You’re A Germ” Video Is A Micro-Slasher
A bloody homage for the My Love is Cool highlight.
Wolf Alice, the North London band that you might remember from The FADER FORT last March, loves horror movies. "We always buy one on the road to watch together on long drives," the band wrote in a press release. "It was only a matter of time before we made our own.” The "You're A Germ" video features several eerily recognizable horror tropes: a chainsaw-wielding clown, a creepy doll, reckless protagonists running up the stairs when they should be going out the front door. It's a blood-splattered tribute to campy favorites from the ’70s and ’80s, although the rough-edged, splintering rock song is probably more suited to soundtrack a flick from the turn-of-the-century slasher revival. My Love is Cool is out now on Dirty Hit Records/ RCA.
