Pharrell Says There Will Be Another N.E.R.D. Album

Pharrell took over iHeartRadio's Twitter for a Q&A session yesterday. When one fan wondered if he was planning to add to the N.E.R.D. discography in the future, the famous producer replied with a strong affirmative: "OF COURSE!" No word on when this might occur.

N.E.R.D. is Pharrell's band with Chad Hugo (also his partner in The Neptunes) and Shay Haley. The group's last album, Nothing, came out in 2010. This August, Pharrell played a previously-unreleased N.E.R.D. tune on his Beats 1 Radio show. At the end of 2014, the producer also unveiled a new N.E.R.D. track slated to appear in the Spongebob Squarepants movie.

FADER reached out to representatives of Pharrell and awaits comment.

Good news: a source with knowledge of the situation tells The FADER that the N.E.R.D. album Pharrell hinted at is not merely theoretical, but is actually in the works. Hurray!
