Drake And Future Have The Number 1 Album In The Country
What a time to be alive, indeed.
Drake and Future's collaborative mixtape What a Time to be Alive was a victory lap unlike anything we'd seen before. It comes as no surprise that the tape, released on a Sunday exclusive to iTunes, sold a whopping 339,538 copies in its first week making it the number 1 album in the country without even being an album. As Hits Daily Double points out, the joint tape was streamed via Apple Music another 39,000 times making the mixtape's grand total 378,630 copies sold, a bit off from the half million it was projected to sell earlier in the week but still, Drake's going to need some really big rings. Read about how the tape came together in our cover story with Drake himself.
