Miracles Do Happen: The Pope Is Making An Album

While you're waiting for new albums from Drake, Kanye, and Adele, Pope Francis is stepping in to fill the void. According to Rolling Stone, the Pope is dropping Wake Up! on November 27. The project reportedly "features the Pontiff delivering sacred hymns and excerpts of his most moving speeches in multiple languages paired with uplifting musical accompaniment ranging from pop-rock to Gregorian chant."

Francis is in good hands here: the album is produced by Don Giulio Neroni, who has worked with both Francis's predecessors, John Paul II and Benedict XVI. Tony Pagliuca, who helped write songs for the album, told Rolling Stone, "Putting my music in the service of the words and the voice of Pope Francis has been a fantastic experience and a very interesting artistic challenge."
