When Prince released his 38th studio album recently, he also announced that he would periodically share loosies on Tidal—a surprisingly modern announcement for a singer who always had an uneasy relationship with digital distribution methods. Though Prince tried to incorporate some of the flavors of modern electronic music on HIT N RUN: Phase One, his latest track is light, jolly, and retro.
