Kodak Black Shares “SKRT” Video
Directed by Unkle Luc.
It's easy to see why Kodak Black's "SKRT" earned play on OVO Sound Radio earlier this year: the beat, which combines a stream of percussion and a few floating keyboard notes, is reminiscent of OVO tracks like PARTYNEXTDOOR's "Persian Rugs." But while PARTYNEXTDOOR melts and liquefies, there are fierce, distressed qualities to Kodak's loneliness. Don't you change on me, he raps. No switching lanes on me.
The clip came together with help from Unkle Luc, who also made Future's "Trap Niggas" video. Watch that below.
