JoJo's "Say Love" is a power-ballad about a struggling couple: It feels like we can't get out of first/ When we do it's like we're stuck in reverse. "This song called for something open and intimate, while focusing on the tension of being with someone but not fully being on the same page," JoJo explained in a statement.
