Are Kendrick Lamar And J. Cole Dropping A Collaboration Next Year?
Kendrick’s sister posted a hint on Instagram.
Yesterday Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole celebrated Black Friday by trading the beats for Lamar's "Alright" and Cole's "Black Friday" and rapping like mad. Now it seems there may be another collaboration from the two on the way, according to Kendrick Lamar's little sister Kayla Duckworth.
According to the above photo posted to her Instagram page, something else is on the way. She also posted a specific date, "#Feb16." That was quickly deleted, but not before Reddit captured a screenshot. It could be a reach, though - On his "Alright" remix, Cole seems to suggest the world couldn't handle another a full project from him and Kendrick: "When you and K. Dot shit dropping? / Bitch never, they can’t handle two black niggas this clever / But this February, bet shit get scary when I fuck around and drop..."
We've reached out to representatives for the rappers and will update with their responses. Till then, it's always Black Friday, below.
