Grindr Will Livestream J.W. Anderson’s Spring Show

Grindr's much-publicized union with fashion PR giant PR Consulting appears to have borne its first tangible fruit: the hookup app will have the honor of livestreaming J.W. Anderson's SS16 show this Sunday, as part of London Men's Fashion Week. Grindr's newly acquired PR presence seems to be committed to retooling the public's perception of the app—broadening its content and widening its appeal. While the connection between fashion and Grindr's galmorization of quick, anonymous sex might not be immediately obvious, Anderson insists there's a deep-rooted connection there, telling The New York Times, “I think fashion is a sexy platform as well, ultimately...We’re all humans, so we all have to be somewhat sexually attractive to someone. That’s the name of the game, with clothing.”
