When Janet Jackson cancelled a string of dates on her Unbreakable World Tour in December, rumours began to spread that the singer had contracted throat cancer. This evening, she quashed the gossip with short video message, using lyrics from Unbreakable's “The Great Forever” preceding her note. The message clarifies that she does not have cancer, is recovering, and “...[her] doctors have approved my concerts as scheduled in Europe, and as I promised, the postponed shows will be rescheduled.”
