A follow-up to his recent EP.
BJ The Chicago Kid has released a steady stream of covers in the last year, paying tribute to James Brown, Aaliyah, and Blackstreet. Recently he unveiled three renditions of D'Angelo songs, putting his own spin on "She's Always In My Hair" (originally by Prince) and the Voodoo tracks "Send It On" and "Untitled (How Does It Feel)."
Today the singer shared "Salute To D'Angelo," a clip to accompany his latest burst of homage. Shawny Ocho directed the black and white video; watch above. For another glimpse of BJ's vocal abilities, check out his guest appearance on Anderson .Paak's recently released Malibu.
