That Rolling Stone Cover Of Kanye West Shot By Tyler The Creato’ Isn't Real
Update: Kanye admits it’s not real, but says it could be.
In this Waves promotion cycle, Kanye West has been doing a lot of work inside of the studio, as well as some work outside the booth too.
On Wednesday night, Kanye tweeted an image of himself mocked up to be a Rolling Stone cover and said, "ROLLING STONE SHOT BY TYLER THE CREATOR." According to a tweet from Rolling Stone, the cover is not real: "While we love Kanye, and have many mustard-related questions for him, this is not an actual cover of Rolling Stone."
A rep for Kanye West did not immediately return a request for comment.
Update, 2/3/16, 8:12 p.m.: #trollingstone
Kanye has tweeted that while his Rolling Stone cover is a fake, it still could be a real cover. He's also set up a Twitter poll asking his followers to vote on whether or not Rolling Stone should print it. Maybe a Marvel-style variant on next month's print edition?
