Listen To Flying Lotus’s Rare J Dilla Tribute Mix From 2006

Just hours after J Dilla passed away in his home on February 10 2006, Flying Lotus hopped into dublub studios and spun a live mix in the legendary producer's honor. Now, the session has resurfaced, as Pitchfork points out. According to dublab, the mix contains “hip-hop, rare grooves (some of which were sampled by Dilla and Madlib), exotic international records, and a few of Dilla’s own tracks.”
