Kendrick Lamar Met With Students From His High School Before The Grammys

In partnership with Reebok, Kendrick Lamar brought students from his former high school along to last night’s Grammy awards. A short clip from the trip surfaced today. The kids received new sneakers, and Kendrick stopped by before the ceremony for a brief meet and greet. “Seeing them out here, it just reminds me of where you come from,” the rapper tells the camera. “And I can see they [are] full of energy the same way I used to have it. It’s motivation to want to do something with themselves. The next ten years from now, hopefully they’ll be further than where I’m at.” Watch the clip above.
