"I'm interested in the things that we're all thinking, but that we don't say," Kelela declares at the beginning of a new clip made by Dazed in conjunction with a cover story on the singer. "The things going on with everybody that we don't really talk about," Kelela continues. "The things in between. The interlude."
During the accompanying interview, the singer shares a few details about her debut album, which she suggests will arrive in May. "We’re thinking about otherworldliness, what we like, and what feels good," she explains. "The album is a bunch of people going further with their own visions: how weird can this get? How big can it get? We’re all trying to crack that code."
