Watch TOKiMONSTA’s “Put It Down” Video With Anderson .Paak
A new Fovere visual.
"Put It Down" gets a lot of mileage from dynamics, with big shifts from soft verses to a steamrolling hook. TOKiMONSTA unveiled the video for the single today, and Anderson .Paak plays a prominent role—dressed in a hooded black leather coat, he looks like he's auditioning for one of The Matrix movies. Mike Dempsey and Rami Hachache served as directors.
"Put It Down" will appear on Fovere. Last year, TOKiMONSTA told The FADER that the album "represents my life at the time it was being made—a point where a lot of transitions were being made and I had the biggest personal growth spurt. Fovere essentially means, 'to cherish' in Latin. To cherish everything—good, bad, light and dark."
Look for Fovere on March 4.
