Kali Uchis Covered “Sabor A Mi”

Earlier this week, Kali Uchis made an announcement on Instagram. "Wanna give u somethin sooner then next weeks release, just to say thank you," she wrote. "So tell me which song you want me to cover & ill put it out on soundcloud." She provided three options: Angie Stone's "Wish I Didn't Miss You," Aaron Neville's "Tell It Like It Is," and El Chicano's version of "Sabor A Mi."

Her fans voted for "Sabor A Mi," and Uchis followed through on her promise by sharing a rendition of the track not long after. It's short and spare: just Uchis, a few vocal overdubs, and a keyboard player. Listen below.
