Adele announced today that she will headline Glastonbury - which takes place in Pilton, England from June 22-26 - reports Pitchfork via NME. Adele had previously been apprehensive about playing the festival, mentioning last fall, "The crowds are too big – I don't know if I could do it."
Adele, who will headline the festival on Saturday, June 25th, joins Muse and Coldplay who will headline on Friday and Sunday, respectively. Glastonbury's Twitter account confirmed that Adele would be headlining shortly after the singer made the announcement during her set at London's O2 Arena.
As @Adele just announced live on stage in London, she will headline Saturday night at this year's Glastonbury Festival!
