YG Says That “FDT” Caught The Attention Of The Secret Service
The rapper told TMZ that the Secret Service contacted his label about the song.
In a video posted earlier today by TMZ, YG spoke to a reporter in the airport about the impact of his protest song with Nipsey Hussle "FDT". The politically-charged song caught the attention of the L.A.P.D., who shut down the video shoot, but it was also heard by authorities higher up the ladder.
In the video above, YG says that the Secret Service contacted his label about the song. "[The Secret Service] asked to see the lyrics on the album," he said. "If I'm talking about [Trump] on my album they gonna try to take it off the shelves."
A representative for YG was not immediately available for comment.
