M.I.A. Says She’s Turning In Her “Last LP” Next Week

M.I.A. made a surprising declaration on Twitter today. "I am handing my last LP in to my American label this week," she wrote. "It'll be up to them if its released."

The singer also suggested that she's currently unable to enter the U.S. "I don't have visa 4 states to promote or spk," she added. "Can't tour the US without a visa—might have to start writing songs 4 Dj Khaled and Selene Gomez to get heard."

A representative for M.I.A. was not immediately available for comment.
