Ciara Reportedly Denied Sole Custody Of Baby Future
The latest evolution in an ongoing legal dispute.
In February, Ciara reportedly sued Future for $15 million, accusing him of "slander and libel." Two months later, TMZ suggested that the rapper counter-sued his ex.
The legal battle continued this week. According to TMZ, a California judge denied Ciara's request for sole custody of Baby Future yesterday. The singer reportedly argued that Future "was a bad parent who was not present in the child's life." TMZ notes that the state favors joint care in custody disputes.
Representatives for Future and Ciara were not immediately available for comment. Next weekend, Ciara will help host the Billboard Music Awards.
