It takes takes a few beats more than the three-minutes — a.k.a. the titular "180secs" — he allotted himself for Atlanta rapper Reese LAFLARE to unload about his greatest rap-game grievances: culture vultures, haters, style biters, posers, corner-cutters. In the new video game-inspired visual for "180secs," Reese does this from a sofa plopped down smack dab in the middle of nowhere, with each burn — You was born up on the internet, that connect you rap about is wi-fi, you ain't even really seen the trap — earning him a video game point.
"The song is about a couple things that have been weighing heavy on my shoulders and heart lately," he explained in a note to The FADER, "things going on in life and the music industry that I wanted to address."
"180secs" is the latest single off Reese LAFLARE's forthcoming mixtape Reese Vs The Universe, which will feature PARTYNEXTDOOR, Post Malone, Lil Yachty, Sladedamonsta, and more.
