Travis Scott Confirms Apple Music Deal, Says He’s Working On Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight Short Film

The rapper and producer discussed his new partnership and upcoming album on Shade 45.

Last week, Travis Scott posted a picture with Larry Jackson, Apple Music's head of content, with the caption "DONE DEAL." In an interview with DJ Whoo Kid on Shade 45, released today, the rapper and producer confirmed that he had inked a deal with Apple Music, joining the ranks of Drake and Chance The Rapper. "I just did my partnership with Apple Music and shit,” he told DJ Whoo Kid. "He always gave me that advice. You know, just to figure out where I’m going. So, I’m glad he’s down to take this trip with the kid and with this album; it’s super good."

Scott still hasn't announced a release date for his Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight album, but he told DJ Whoo Kid that he was working on a short film to accompany the upcoming album.
