On Wednesday Columbus, Ohio police shot and killed Tyre King, a 13-year-old boy. after responding to report of a robbery. King was holding a bb gun with a laser sight, according to a report from The Guardian. He was shot numerous times and died afterwards in a children's hospital. The officer involved in the shooting has not been revealed.
Officers approached three boys, including King, responding to a robbery report. When police approached, King and one of his friends ran. King was shot after allegedly pulling the bb gun from his waistband.
