During Thursday night's Bad Boy Family Reunion Tour Puff Daddy announced he was donating $1 million to his alma mater Howard University. He's also starting the Sean Combs Scholarship Fund. Puff presented University President Dr. Wayne A. I. Frederick with a novelty size check on stage. As reported by Billboard, he said,
"I didn't graduate from Howard. I was blessed to get my honorary degree but that doesn't tell the whole story,” he said. “Because the only reason why I was able to chase my dreams was the empowerment that Howard gave me, the support that they gave me, the first two years."
The scholarships will go into effect in 2017. They will go to students who are getting a business degree, maintain a 3.0 GPA, and show a need for financial aid.
