ShaqIsDope Bars Up For “Wake Up”

Five months after sharing the Black Flames project, ShaqIsDope returns with another dispatch from downtown Toronto: "Wake Up," which will appear on a self-titled EP, out in December. "Wake Up" feels like a shooting range for Shaq's bars, which barrel forth with an audible hunger. His brags are made all the more believable thanks to the sheer velocity of their impact, and The Jenius's dark, liturgical production imbues a sense of impending doom, perhaps for other rappers.
