A$AP Rocky Recruits Lil Uzi Vert To Channel Vintage MTV In New Teaser

A$AP Rocky is taking over as Creative Director for MTV Labs, and to celebrate, he dropped off a quick promo video this weekend via Instagram. The teaser, which co-stars Lil Uzi Vert, channels MTV's glory days, borrowing visual inspiration from the iconic, George Lois-helmed "I Want My MTV" campaign that helped establish the brand in the early '80s. There's even a Kurt Loder cameo just for kicks. The video is the first piece of work to emerge from his tenure at MTV Labs, where he'll be helping to spearhead the creation of "original and branded content."
