Paper's Living For Fashion Issue is on newsstands now, and today, the magazine dropped interviews online with the issue's cover stars, Travis Scott and Teyana Taylor. The cover stories follow in the same tradition of last month's Blac Chyna cover, with short profiles and iconic shots of stars who fall somewhere in the West-Kardashian orbit.
Both pieces, naturally, revolve around fashion and their accompanying photoshoots, with Travis decked out in Givenchy and Alexander Wang and Taylor channeling Grace Jones and rocking some Yeezy Season 4.
In Travis' interview, the artist gushes about his friend and collaborator Kid Cudi (for whom he recently expressed support in light of Cudi's recent struggle with depression), as well as André 3000 and Kendrick. He also announced, albeit pretty vaguely, an upcoming fashion collaboration with an unnamed major brand ("I just saw the samples - fucking crazy"), and a short film documenting the making of Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight.
Taylor's interview picks up the story after her iconic turn in Kanye's "Fade" video, and reveals that she'll be working on a second album, a follow-up to 2014's VII inspired by "'90s R&B, baby-making music" and focused on "every aspect of what we go through as women." She'll also appear on VH1's early hip-hop series, The Breaks, playing a character inspired by Queen Latifah and Monie Love.
