Kaytranada Says Chance The Rapper Collab Is On The Way, But A Gorillaz Collab Fell Through
The Montreal producer also revealed his favorite Kanye and Prince songs in a Twitter Q&A.
Kaytranada indulged fans' curiosity by hosting a Twitter Q&A today, mostly fielding questions about collabs—past, present, future, and hypothetical—and his favorite stuff.
Among other things, he revealed that his unreleased Chance the Rapper collab "They Say" is still unfinished, but that he's still waiting on Chance to send over vocals. The track, which Chance said previously was recorded during the Coloring Book sessions, is reportedly on its way soon.
The producer also noted that another potential collab, this one with Gorillaz, ultimately fell through. Asked whether such a collab was a possibility, he responded, "i was supposed to, they hit me up one time and i didnt hear back from them again."
