The Weeknd has notched the No. 1 single on the Hot 100 with the Daft Punk-feaurting "Starboy," Billboard reports. The single follows "Can't Feel My Face" and "The Hills" as the Toronto singer's third No. 1 single and marks Daft Punk's first-ever entry in the top spot.
The single, which is the title track from The Weeknd's third studio album, previously spent eight weeks at the No. 2 spot on the chart behind Rae Sremmurd's "Black Beatles." The song earned the chart's greatest week-over-week sales, seeing a 49 percent gain in downloads sold in the week ending Dec. 22.
Following the release, and No. 1 debut, of The Weeknd's Starboy album at the end of November, all 18 songs from the album debuted on the Hot 100 chart. The Weeknd's "I Feel It Coming" single is also gaining in chart position, moving from No. 33 to No. 25.
