Watch Dave Chappelle And John Mayer Cover Classic Nirvana Together

Dave Chappelle apparently popped up at a secret acoustic set from John Mayer at L.A.'s Hotel Cafe last night to help out on a few songs. Some clips surfaced on social media earlier today from the surprise drop-in, including footage of the two doing an impromptu take on Nirvana's "Come As You Are" and Dave doing his best Jerry Maguire for Tom Petty's "Free Falling."

The clips are a fun throwback to Mayer's Chappelle's Show appearance and the duo's Questlove-assisted barbershop team-up. Mayer has a new album, The Search For Everything, on the way, and meanwhile, Dave is apparently working on the first of three specials for Netflix. Watch the clips below.
