At the 2017 Golden Globe awards on Sunday night, Meryl Streep was honored with the Cecil B. Demille Award. Streep took the stage to deliver an impassioned speech about privilege and the role of actors and artists during a Trump presidency. "Hollywood is crawling with outsiders and foreigners," Streep told the crowd. "If you kick em out, you’ll have nothing to watch but football and mixed martial arts.”
Frank Ocean took to his Tumblr page following the awards ceremony to offer a brief message of support for Meryl Streep and the themes she discussed in her speech. "SAY IT MERYL!" he wrote in the post. Watch part of Meryl Streep's speech during the 2017 Golden Globe awards below.
