Marvel has released their new cover for the second issue of its America series, inspired by a look from Beyoncé’s “Formation" video, Vulture reports. The cover, designed by illustrator Joe Quinones, recalls the pop star's hat and jewelry in scenes from the video, replacing her all-black attire with stars and stripes. The new series, written by Gabby Rivera, will be released in April.

Marvel has often looked to popular music, namely hip-hop for inspiration. Their hip-hop variant covers have repurposed album artwork from Run The Jewels, Kanye West, Missy Elliot, and more, combining them with popular characters from the Marvel universe.
