Major Lazer Recruit Nicki Minaj And PARTYNEXTDOOR For “Run Up”

After announcing the collaboration on the red carpet at the American Music Awards, Major Lazer has released their new single "Run Up," featuring Nicki Minaj and PARTYNEXTDOOR. The song is a return to the dancehall for Major Lazer, and finds Nicki Minaj rapping, “Bout to drop an album, this is my fourth.”

Last year, Minaj told The Breakfast Club that she was considering the possibility of sharing a mixtape before her new album and said she was sitting on a Diplo beat. Major Lazer is currently gearing up for their own studio album, Music Is The Weapon, which Diplo detailed during an interview with Zane Lowe in July.
