Get lost in the synth-pop trio’s euphoric visual.

MUNA's Katie Gavin, Josette Maskin, and Naomi McPherson are three queer women who banded together to create a musical "safe haven" — and their video for "So Special" certainly feels like one. The first in a series of video releases that will drop every Tuesday and Thursday from here on out, this dark pop ballad will leave you feeling vulnerable.

It's almost inevitable that you will relate to one of the characters in "So Special," and as MUNA told The FADER over email, that's what their new project is all about. "This project, whilst technically a compilation of lyric videos, hopes more largely to portray the vulnerabilities and complexities of the album in visual portraits of simple and diverse human experiences," they said. "Whether it's blowing off steam after a hard shift or getting in the zone to create something, we want people to use this album. We want people to make this album about them."
