Gucci’s New Runway Show Invite Features A$AP Rocky Reading Jane Austen On Vinyl
The fashion label enlisted Rocky and Florence Welch to help intro their F/W ’17 collection.
Gucci's Fall/Winter 2017 runway show took place earlier today, and to introduce the event, the fashion label recruited A$AP Rocky and Florence Welch (sans the Machine).
The invite to the show came in the form of a 12-inch vinyl record, with each side featuring one of the artists reciting poetry. On the A side, Florence reads a passage from William Blake's Songs of Innocence. On the B side, Rocky takes on a passage from Jane Austen's Persuasion.
Naturally, Rocky also helped model some pieces from the collection, as did Jared Leto, Hari Nef, and Petra Collins. Watch the show here and peep the vinyl invite below.
