The Blaze’s “Territory” Video Is An Unmissable Mini Movie
The duo return with their second single and news of their debut EP.
Last year unknown French duo The Blaze emerged with their brilliant debut single "Virile." The song's video was just as unmissable, showing two men in their Parisian apartment smoking, laughing, and dancing to the song. It was a cinematic look at male bonding and the romance of friendship.
Today, February 23, The Blaze offer up their second single "Territory." It's taken from their debut EP of the same name, which is due on April 7 via Animal63, a new label headed by Savoir Faire and Believe Recordings.
Filmed in Algiers, the "Territory" video captures an emotional and complicated homecoming. In the visual we see a man in tears as he embraces his family after time spent overseas. Similar to the "Virile" video, male relationships are front and center throughout, though there are also tender scenes with a motherly figure too.
Little is know about The Blaze right now beyond the fact they're a duo of producers and directors. While we wait on more from them, check out the "Territory" video above.
