Young Thug has announced his first USA show since his release from prison: June 22 at Summer Smash festival in Chicago. It follows the unexpected conclusion of his RICO trial last October, when the rapper was released following a guilty plea of participating in criminal street gang activities.

Thug has kept a low profile since then — working on music, according to his sister, while taking time to heal from his two-and-a-half year stay in prison following his May 2022 arrest. Last month, as Pitchfork points out, he announced performances at the Les Ardentes festival in Belgium and Openair Frauenfeld in Switzerland.

Recently, Thug has appeared on songs with Lil Baby ("Dum, Dumb, and Dumber" featuring Future) and Playboi Carti ("WE NEED ALL DA VIBES" featuring Ty Dolla $ign). See his full 2025 tour date roster (so far below), followed by the Lyrical Lemonade Summer Smash 2025 lineup, featuring Yeat, Don Toliver, Future, 1900 Rugrat, Nino Paid, Osamason, SahBabii, Nettspend, Saba, and many more.
