Update, 2/27/17, 1:10 p.m: Future's manager Anthony Saleh responded to the reports on Twitter with "FALSE."
Future will visit The Ellen Show for the first time on Thursday, March 2, but that may not be the biggest event in the rapper's calendar this week. A Reddit user discovered that according to The Ellen Show's website, Future is gearing up to release an album the very next day, his third in three weeks. Last Friday, Future shared HNDRXX, and dropped a self-titled record the week before.
The episode's description reads: "Plus, one of the biggest rappers in music, FUTURE is on the show today! He'll be performing a song from his upcoming CD, HNDRXX. He has the #1 album in the country this week with Future, and is attempting to have three #1 albums in a row in three weeks – which will make him the first in history to do that! He’s bringing it all to Ellen!"
NPR is also reporting that Future may drop another album this week.
Representatives for Future were not immediately available for comment.
