On Tuesday, Feist confirmed that Pleasure, her follow-up LP to 2011's Metals, was "en route." No release date either for the Canadian artist's fifth solo album or its songs were announced, but on Thursday, the singer/songwriter shared an Instagram video with a few seconds of new music.
In the clip, a woman in apparent distress paces a tiled room. Then, a guitar-driven rock song kicks in, over a title card reading "PLEASURE." According to Shazam — and anyone familiar with her unique voice — the song is indeed by Feist, and entitled "Pleasure."
"The experience of pleasure is mild or deep, sometimes temporal, sometimes a sort of low grade lasting, usually a motivator," Feist wrote on Twitter. "If the way you look at things is how they look then my motivation is to look with a brighter eye."
