Pharrell will induct Nile Rodgers into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Pitchfork reports. Pharrell joins Snoop Dogg on the list of artists who will assist at this year's ceremony with the rapper set to induct Tupac at this year's event.
Meanwhile. performers newly confirmed for the ceremony include Lenny Kravitz playing a tribute performance to Prince, plus Alicia Keys, Mary Chapin Carpenter, and Indigo Girls.
At the end of 2016, it was announced that Nile Rodgers and Tupac would be inducted into the hall of fame along with Pearl Jam, Joan Baez, Journey, and Electric Light Orchestra. The induction will be on April 7 at Brooklyn's Barcley's Center. An edited version of the ceremony is set to air on HBO, along with a radio broadcast on SiriusXM.
