Two days after Jazz Cartier won a Juno Award for Rap Recording of the Year for Hotel Paranoia, the rapper reportedly signed to Capitol Records.
On Tuesday, Capitol tweeted out the announcement, writing, "Fresh off his 2017 @TheJUNOAwards win for Rap Recording of the Year, welcome @JazzCartier to the #CapitolFamily 🔥🎶""

The rapper then retweeted the label, adding that this would be a "new chapter" for the Canadian rapper.
In January, Cartier released "Tempted," the first single off of his upcoming project Fleurever.
Capitol Records did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
