Gorillaz will release their new album Humanz in April with band leader Damon Albarn recently describing the record as "a party record about the world going fucking nuts.” In keeping with that spirit, fans will be able to hear the album first via a new Gorillaz app available on Android and Apple devices now.
A press release describes the Gorillaz app as allowing "fans to immerse themselves in the world of Gorillaz and join Murdoc, 2D, Russel and Noodle at home in the Gorillaz House." Fans will be invited via the app to the Humanz House Party, an exclusive worldwide listening event which will allow fans to hear the new album in full for the first time. A date for the house party has yet to be confirmed. Humanz is released on April 28. The FADER has reached out for more information.
